What Does the Six Month Smiles® Treatment Process Entail?

The Six Month Smile® treatment process will begin with a consultation with Dr. Mazhari. After assessing your orthodontic needs, she will determine whether Six Month Smiles® can provide you with the results you desire.

Once Dr. Mazhari has ascertained that Six Month Smiles® is the right treatment for you, she will take a series of X-rays and impressions of your teeth. These will then be used to fabricate your custom, clear brackets and wires. Once the parts have been created, they will be affixed to your teeth. You will come in to see Dr. Mazhari several times over the course of your treatment so that the wires can be tightened and adjusted. Over the course of the treatment, your teeth should gently shift into the desired alignment, at which point the brackets and wires can be removed. In order to maintain your results, you will likely need to wear a retainer for a set period of time following treatment.
